The Player Profile
Who Is Harper Blake?
Harper Blake is a 12-year-old sixth grader, softball player, thoughtful friend, and the main character of the Harper in the Hallways series. Harper notices the things other people often miss—the empty seat, the quiet classmate, the change in someone’s expression, or the moment a person begins to feel left out. She is observant, compassionate, and determined to help others feel like they belong.
Harper’s caring nature is one of her greatest strengths, but it can also lead her to take responsibility for feelings and problems that are not hers to carry. Throughout the series, she begins learning how to support others while also setting healthy boundaries, speaking honestly, and protecting her own emotional well-being.

Harper in the Hallways: You Belong Here
Harper discovers how one small act of kindness can change someone’s entire school experience. It is about finding people and places where you are valued for who you are.
